Arise Volunteer

Arise

Arise is an off-campus program for HSE & FSE to learn about God. Arise needs people to ride the bus with students, help serve food, and lead table discussion with students. You can serve by doing one or all of these things on Tuesday Afternoons.

Clothing Closet Coordinator

Offer a "cold cup of water" in the form of clothing and toiletries in the name of Jesus to people with few material possessions. Lead and schedule the team in collecting and sorting donations, and interact with programs and donors who provide supplies.

Be on-site 1-4 Thursdays a month, 5:30 - 7:30PM at GPark. Weekly coordination can be done from home.

Garfield Park

Be the provision of Jesus for those who have little joy in their lives or financial ability to have a delicious and nutritious meal. Buy the ingredients (reimbursement is available) and cook a healthy and delicious main dish for about 100 people.

Frequency:

Beginning Oct 19, 3rd Thursday of every other month. (Prefer the cook to bring the food to GPark by 5:30pm, or cook on-site. If that is not possible, transportation for the food can be arranged.)
