VALUES
Values affect how we think, help form the culture we live in, and guide us in how we do ministry at Trinity. As we make disciples, these values will be lived out as a church and as individuals as we love God, love one another, and help others to know and love God.
The Bible is the written Word of God and is the final authority in all things. Solid biblical teaching will permeate every ministry of the church as we seek to present God’s word authentically, clearly, and in a culturally relevant way. It is our desire to cultivate a hunger and passion for Scripture at Trinity Church.
We believe that God reveals Himself and His love in Jesus Christ, and worship is the way we respond to Him. In worship we strive to draw worshippers into the story of God as we remember who God is, and what He has done and promises to do. We infuse our gatherings with scripture, sacrament, and ancient-future practices as we join with the Church throughout the ages to remember our shared story of redemption.
The last command of Jesus is to go and make disciples. Discipleship happens when believers intentionally invest in others through small gatherings focused on the word of God, accountability, and prayer. True disciples make disciples.
To be The Church is to share God's heart for lost people. Whether it is across the street or around the world, we are called to proclaim the gospel. God has called each of us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
God has given us all we have. This example of kindness should cause us to be a generous people who use our time, talents, and treasure for His kingdom. God owns everything; we are simply stewards of His resources.
Everyone is made in the image of God. As Christians we want to create an environment of radical hospitality and grace for everyone we meet, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, age, disability, or any other distinction. We love others because God first loved us.
In order to fulfill God's vision, every person needs to be engaged in God's mission. Following Jesus means nothing less than full participation. Christ gave his all for us. We follow his example by giving our all for him and his purposes.
